Whey Protein King Review

Taste: 10/10
Up there with EAS whey protein and Optimum 100 whey in terms of taste. Also, a fantastic array of flavours to keep some variety. Muscle milk also seems very filling, so a good whey protein shake to use if you are looking for weight management. I didn't personally experience this, but there have been some reports of gas and bloating taking Muscle Milk.

Texture: 10/10
No problems here either. A smooth shake, which equals no clumps and no wasted product. What more could you ask for?!

Value for Money 8/10
Muscle milk has a lot of features to it. Apart form helping muscle growth, however it does have a lot of fat. With this, you may expect a large price tag but that is not the case. Cytosport Muscle Milk is very reasonably priced for what you are getting. A brilliant overall product.

Overall 7/10
By far one of the best products I have sampled. Now it is time to try and evaluate it overall! Some of Muscle Milk's key ingredients are: Whey isolates, whey peptides, whey concentrate, MCTs and also Muscle Milk's patented EVOPRO and ENDOCREATINE systems. EVOPRO is Cytosports custom based amino acid, peptide and protein matrix. The ENDOCREATINE system is a creatine precursor. Creatine precursor molecules help the body synthesise creatine. I do advise you read thoroughly the ingredients of Muscle Milk, just to make sure you can incorporaate it around any other supplements you take.

A slight drawback with Muscle Milk is the high level of fat and calories per serving, which is higher than a lot of other brands. Again, the nutritional values need to be calculated into your diet.

Muscle Milk is the best!! This stuff doesn’t even taste like protein! It tastes really great! Its hard to decide which flavor to buy. I def gained wieght and muscle from this supplement. My bench went up from 195 to 235 and my squat went up to 325 to 275 in only 3weeks. I only use muscle milk! Muscle milk rocks!

Cant complain about much

This is the second brand of protein ive had. I have gotten fairly good gains with it, I am not disappointed at all, it worked great. And tasted even better. This is byfar the best tasting protein that I have ever had. One of the reasons I stayed with it is because of the taste. Its extremely smooth, tastes just like a milkshake.

One of the cons of muscle milk is the calories, it packs a whooping 300 calories per 2 scoop serving, and it has a lot more fat then other protien supplements. Which isn’t necessarily bad if you work out hard enough to burn it. This supplement is great for bulking up and gaining weight. I have also used it as a meal replacement and it worked fine, it was not hungry for a couple of hours afterwards.

One thing thats often overlooked is side effects, I got some gas from muscle milk, not a lot but this is just a warning. You might not get gas, but I did. Just a warning. Only way to see if you will get gas, is to try it.

Overall, great supplement for the beginner. If you aren’t used to, or don’t like the taste of protein. This is for you! It also works great for bulking up and meal replacements, just make sure you work out enough to burn the 300 or so calories that you get from the shake. I give it 4 stars out of 5. Only because of the high calories and gas.
