Brian is a Scientist, studying closely the benefits of whey protein for the body and Daphne a keen exerciser, who was looking for a more convenient and less messy way to get a source of whey protein than some traditional powders provided. Together, after much hard work, they came up with these yoghurts containing whey protein. Tasty, small and compact, they are the perfect solution. Whey Protein King is happy to have met and dealt with members of the Better Whey of Life team.

    Taste: 08/10

    The flavour I bought was Strawberry (also available in Chocolate, Vanilla, Natural and Banana.) When mixed with milk, the flavour is not quite as distinctive as it first smells when you remove the lid. I did enjoy the taste of the product, although depending on how much taste is important to you, it can lose its flavour when mixed with milk, particularly whole milk.

    Texture: 06/10

    The powder is quite thick and you really need to blend this together as stirring/whisking is virtually useless.  It soon clumps together at the bottom of the glass and the serving is unusable.  When blended however, the product is just fine.  I blend for approximately 30 seconds and there are no lumps, meaning none of the product is wasted.

    Value for Money: 06/10

    I purchased Body Fortress whey protein for £27.99 for a 908g tub.  It has lasted me quite a long time and is pretty good value, although some have said it to be a little expensive for the size. Holland and Barrett, the main UK supplier of this, often do big saving deals on tubs though. See our "Buy Now" tab for more options.

    Body Fortress Whey Protein 100% Summary

    Body Fortress is ok as an all round product.  The Average serving per scoop is 17.5g of protein which looks quite low when compared to other brands that serve 24 to 25g of protein per serving. If your protein intake is going to be high then you will want to look at a higher dose per scoop product as you will use Body Fortress too quickly.
