Taste: 6/10
This isn't the best when it comes to taste I'm afraid. Chocolate and vanilla flavours are okay but nothing special. Unfortunately at this time there are just better tasting products and a wider variety of flavours. There is also a slightly 'chalky' taste but this is most likely down to the addition this time of Creatine. Please read on to find more.
Texture: 6/10
In terms of the powder mixing, there are no real complaints. It mixed fine with water and milk, although I do recommend blending to ensure all the powder is used. Again, stirring or shaking in a mixer left lumps behind.
Value for Money: 7/10
Body Fortress whey protein is certainly a contender in the price region. A 2lb tub is anywhere between $10-14 which is a good price. In the UK, it retails at around £23 for the 2lb tub, again a competitive price.
Body Fortress Whey Protein 100% Summary
Body Fortress I'm afraid, in my personal view, is one of the less impressive products I've tried and in looking around there are many that share the same view. It lacks what others have in the taste department but on a positive note it is good on price and in the current tough financial climate that may be an important factor to consider. Another very important note is that there is Creatine in this powder, so if you are already taking Creatine as part of your plan then you will need to look at the content in this to adjust your dosage. I have contacted Body Fortress directly and confirmed there is 6g of Creatine per scoop, so please bear this in mind.
